You’re a Top Priority vs. A Part of a Large Caseload

> With school-based counselors and advisors, you’re typically just one of the hundreds or even thousands in an often unworkable caseload, unfortunately resulting in restricted access to your advisor and brief (if any) one-on-one advising sessions within their packed schedule during traditional school/office hours.

> With Masters, you’re elevated to top priority status.  Independently, I intentionally choose to serve a very limited number of clients to make you a top priority.  This ensures you receive the ample time, personalized attention, and prompt, high-quality advising you need to achieve your goals, all during convenient times in the evenings and on weekends.

Expert Guidance vs. General Help

> School-based counselors and advisors’ attention is commonly split between many different responsibilities that may not allow the advisor to develop a solid skill set, expertise, or even current knowledge in career/college advising.  And with their time and resources stretched thin, you’ll likely have less direct support from your advisor and have to rely more on self-service tools and help from well-meaning but certainly less-qualified staff, ‘peer advisors’, or volunteers.

> School-based counselors and advisors may not be available when it’s ideal for you, especially when you have urgent needs.  You’ll likely find that your advisor is booked out for several days, weeks, or even months, and enforces a strict time limit on any available appointment slot in an effort to meet with as many students in their caseload as possible.  And any quick questions you have via email will most often be answered when they have time to respond during their traditional office hours, which might be the next business day at best.

> Masters delivers the support you need, when you need it.  Dedicated to a quality-over-quantity approach, I keep a flexible schedule that is open to same-day and next-day requests, as well as providing prompt attention to any urgent matters or emergency situations you may face.  I also believe in being accessible to you beyond traditional means.  So, you can expect ample time during your sessions, after-hours support, and quick responses via email and text message.

Virtual advising will take place via email, phone, or live video (i.e. Zoom, Skype), and may involve a combination of these based on the service/package you choose.

I naturally aim for fast turnarounds and sessions that take place ASAP, but when you’d like to request same-day or next-day advising, it’s as easy as selecting these options on your service’s/package’s Booking Request form.

A same-day guarantee request is an additional $39, and will guarantee turnaround (for email-only services) or session start time by 8pm EST/EDT today when your Booking Request form is submitted by 12pm (Noon) EST/EDT today with the option checked for ‘same-day guarantee request’.  I’ll confirm via email if I can fulfill your same-day guarantee request by 1pm EST/EDT today.  No charges will be processed until booking is finalized.

A next-day guarantee request is an additional $19, and will guarantee turnaround (for email-only services) or session start time by 8pm EST/EDT tomorrow when your Booking Request form is submitted by 5pm EST/EDT today with the option checked for ‘next-day guarantee request’.  I’ll confirm via email if I can fulfill your next-day guarantee request by 6pm EST/EDT today.  No charges will be processed until booking is finalized.

For Packages:  Initial same-day and next-day guarantee requests made in the Booking Request form apply only to your package’s first turnaround or session.

Note for Holidays:  Please note that same-day and next-day guarantees are not available for the following days: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday and weekend (Sat. & Sun.), Memorial Day and weekend (Sat.-Mon.), Independence Day Observed and weekend (Sat.
